The SEC provides our member districts with three levels of service:

1. Student & Family Support
   • • Child find screenings for families concerned their child may have a disability
     • Special education eligibility evaluations
     • School psychology
     • Educational speech/language pathology
     • Educational occupational therapy
     • Technical help related to special education
2. Staff Support
   • • Special education training
     • Crisis Prevention Institute de-escalation training
     • Compliance support
     • Professional development
     • Behavioral consultation
     • Technical help related to special education
3. System Support
   • • Official student file maintenance and monitoring
     • Record reporting verification
     • Student transfer requests
     • Special education referral, evaluation, and re-evaluation
     • Grant applications and reports to OSPI
